Natasha Calandrino Van Kleef
My experience in the environmental and cultural fields led me to be appointed in 2018 as Expert of Urban Planning and Environment Commission and Expert of Culture Commission of Municipality 1 in Milan. In that capacity, I have recently organized several public events, including a health disclosure day Amici per la Pelle - la moda salutare with Mauro Rossetti, a textile chemist from the Textile and Health Association and Giulio Tosti, a dermatologist from the IEO (2018), the exhibition of Pakistani artists Art for education at the Diocesan Museum and Palazzo Serbelloni (2018), and the multidisciplinary conference Contagio. Humans against viruses, proposed and implemented in collaboration with the Presidency of the Council of the City of Milan. After the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic, I collaborated in the birth of Safety Week of the City of Milan during which I presented the project Tactile Plates for the mobility of the visually impaired and blind and the scientific-disclosure day “Microplastics: toxic legacies and the environmental challenge of future generations,” also in collaboration with the City of Milan.

On February 2 and 3, 2021, the CONTAGION Congress was held LIVE STREAMING from Facebook and Youtube, promoted in collaboration with the Presidency of the Council of the City of Milan and born in 2018 from an idea of the Culture Commission and Environment Commission Expert of City Hall 1

The collaborative relationship with the Polytechnic di Milano has been in the years after graduation occasional but constant: I started attending occasionally the Department of Technology and Design at the Faculty of Architecture to follow some innovative projects on sustainability, and after that I became an Assessor of the Subject with Luciano Crespi, associate professor in architectural technology with reflections and lectures on the concept of temporary and reversible living.

Italian Friends of The Citizens Foundation is an Italian VO that promotes women's education in Pakistan. The association is the Milan-based partner of the Pakistani NGO The Citizens Foundation - TCF, which has been working in the education sector since 1996, implementing quality secular schools for the most disadvantaged in Pakistan, particularly girls.

The Imago Mundi Foundation pursues a twofold purpose. On the one hand, it is dedicated to developing the exhibition aspect by promoting the Imago Mundi Collection through exhibitions, public programs, publications and art commissions, including in collaboration with other institutions.
