Alvarez & Marsal
Milan Headquarters
A number of rooms within the complex adjacent to the Borromeo Palace have been converted into workspaces and have been transformed into elegant, understated spaces with a color study of finishes in line with corporate colors.
In fact, the logo tones were used in the finishes: white marble and some furniture and doors painted the same tone of corporate blue. The parquet floor underwent a punctual restoration with the integration of missing strips where the old walls were demolished and where tracks were made for the passage of new installations. At the entrance, the presence of a structural pillar was transformed into LED light that gives a particularly dramatic appearance at first impact. Period wooden doors and lights were all recovered and retrofitted with a marked increase in energy efficiency.
The existing furniture from the previous location was reused and adapted to new laws in terms of occupational safety and new high-tech requirements by making new compartments in the desks that could hold category 6 wiring. The new furniture (desks, tables, storage units, chairs) was integrated in terms of color and shape to the existing one, and all glass worktops were unified with “no print” glass for easy maintenance and cleaning.
