Micro and Nanoplastics: Current State of Research and Innovative Scenarios
For the event conceived by architect Natasha Calandrino Van Kleef, under the scientific direction of Professor Claudio Fenizia (University of Milan), a panel of Italian experts in the fields of philosophy, biology, fashion, education, biodegradable plastic production, and waste management was brought together with the aim of deepening understanding of the controversial world of plastics and conveying these concepts to the public and policymakers.
The day was opened by the Councilor for the Environment and Green Spaces, Elena Grandi, and featured institutional greetings from the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, the Councilor for Territory and Green Systems of the Lombardy Region, Gianluca Comazzi, the Vice Rector for Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition at the University of Milan, Alessandro Banterle, and the Director of the Scientific Museums, PAC, and Historic and Artistic Buildings Enhancement Division, Giancarlo Tancredi, and will be moderated by Professor Marco Parolini and Dr. Stefania Bonacorsi.
