Salumeria dello Sport
A long-disused restaurant was converted into a sports event projection venue with a small kitchen and bar using custom-designed iron and wood furniture that was transformed into light sources to create some geometric sight reference lines.
Along the entire perimeter wall, a frame made of copper defines the outline of the main room at the center of which is the bar counter made of reclaimed wood planks assembled with an iron top treated with a waterproofing material. Above the copper band the color was selected with dark tones to allow the best view of the screens, while below it the light colors made bright the basement area of main administration that stands out from the entrance.
On the side walls, some iron bookcases made from scaffolding shelves allowed for high-performance artifacts in terms of weight loads but at a very low cost. The coffee tables were recovered through an intervention with three-component polyurethane resin.
