It all starts with years of research and insights into the issue of microplastic pollution in the fashion industry.

A first sustainable collection developed in 2010 under the NVK Daydoll Brand and made from beech pulp with a European innovation patent that allowed me to become brand ambassador of Lenzing AG, the award-winning Austrian company and leader in the green world.
A little pause to understand, thanks in part to collaboration with a team of distinguished experts in the fields of health, physics and energy (https://www.nanoplasticfree.it/streaming), that the real future but imminent danger to our planet and our species are microplastics (to which, unlike viruses, we have no defenses or antibodies), and that they are found in the entire production cycle of fashion garments, from fabric to dyes to sewing.

Hence a new beginning to develop garments that do not exist, the new NVK Fashion collection, uniquely COMPOSTABLE because it is made of 100% Italian hemp and cotton from Giarre (Sicily), from organic farming both certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), sewn with natural yarn made from wood pulp composed of 100% Lyocell TencelTM from Lenzing AG. In order to guarantee the compostability of the entire supply chain, the garments are in the natural color of the fiber from which it is made (ecru for hemp and white for Sicilian cotton), with only one bleaching treatment without the addition of pigments (which inevitably contain microplastics).
Production is deliberately limited and made only on demand, within a highly specialized artisan workshop, to avoid any kind of waste.
