Modellable Wall

The need to create spaces and architecture with a new freedom of expression, but with the use of traditional materials such as perforated bricks. A new technique that allows the creation of horizontal and vertical planes that merge into complex shapes that can be shaped according to one's sensitivity.

In fact, the innovation presented here is a two-dimensional moldable wall for the creation of walls with a development of high aesthetic value and originality, which keep met all the requirements in construction. Modellable wall uses “poor” materials and is assembled with extreme simplicity, allowing to obtain walls, ceilings or roofs of unusual and customized shapes in a short time and at low cost. Requirements in terms of mechanical strength are met by the presence of an internal structure.

This skeleton accommodates classical hollow brickwork, which is laid according to the desired development and simply solidified with mortar. In fact, transverse forces (for example, due to the impact of a grave or those induced by an earthquake), when acting in the direction of the convexity of the surface, are collected by this internal structure and transferred to the floor slabs.
