A few days after the outbreak of Covid-19, it became clear that the mode of transmission of the virus is through droplets, either in droplets or aerosols, and that therefore living in confined indoor environments is the main cause of contagion of the disease. A number of studies of inactivation of pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses, through solar UV light had already been known for years, from which a new natural inactivation technology of SARS-Cov-2, KUSHIM CARING DESIGN, was developed.

Conceived by the creative technical team composed of architect Natasha Calandrino Van Kleef, thermotechnician Riccardo Cavozzi and designer Silvia Bignami, KUSHIM CARING DESIGN is the new brand for indoor environment safety that uses air as a sanitizing element even in the presence of humans and without interrupting any kind of activity. Available in two devices: 1) SanLight which functions as a sanitizer for environments up to 700mc and is simultaneously a design lamp, 2) SanShoe where it performs both the function of a shoe rack and a seating bench preferentially placed at the entrance to be able to deposit footwear avoiding contaminating the floors with pathogens from the street.

Approved by scientific tests at the Immuno-Biology Laboratory of the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences - L. Sacco, KUSHIM CARING DESIGN technology can sanitize the air naturally and effectively, reducing the viral load of Sars-Cov-2 by 90 percent.
