Il Porta
The Porta provides an innovative system for closing rooms that adds other uses to the classic function of closing rooms. The growing need to reclaim as much useful space as possible in the rooms we live in and the ever-shrinking size of housing and offices gave rise to the idea of transforming the building element “door” into a furnishing accessory with a containing function.
The Porta, presented at Feltrinelli Bookstores, is not only an ordinary dividing door, but also a cup holder, a book holder, and a CD holder. An everything holder that saves space by exploiting a functional and inescapable element already present in all rooms.
